abandoned animals

Hello just like to say thank you for what you do, myself and my friend are the animal controllers for a northern municipality in Quebec and with most municipalities if an animal is not claimed within 3 days the animal is destroyed, but with us we believe that everyone has a second chance.
As it is not their fault to which lead them to be abandoned it is our fault as humans.
So we shelter every dog that we pick up, have them neutered if not already done and put them up for adoption into new loving homes to care for them for the rest of their lives.
It is very sad and difficult at times but they all deserve the second chance.
so thank you for your loving care of our best friend.

maudy my son`s dog
I who am the mother has a dog named Snoop who is none aggressive BUT Maudy who is my son`s dog randomly attacks Snoop and holds onto her/had to get stitches once but last night Maudy attacked Snoop for the third time..how can I stop this do not want to get rid of Maudy but I love my dog Snoop

I LOVE YOUR SHOW AND TRY TO APPLY SOME OF THE TECHNIQUES LEARNED FROM WATCHING TO OUR 5 MONTH OLD BULLDOG. HE IS STUBBORN BUT KNOWS WHOSE IN CHARGE THANKS TO THE SHOW. IT SHOULD BE ON EVERY NIGHT!!!!!!

I love your show! I try to watch it as much as possible because I am trying to train my dogs, I have a german sheperd collie and a basson hound, my german sheperd collie is very hipper and likes to jump, its really hard to get in and out of his cage. He has the cage so messed up from trying to get out he has ripped a huge hole in the door and my parent recentley had to seperat him from our basson hound because they got into a bad fight and we are worried he might kill him so we seperated them. the basson hound is about a year and he is hipper, jumps and bits and now hes digging his way out of the cage. I try to be calm and in control and it work to a point but not like I need it to. What should I do?

We have an 11month old chocloate lab who must be the center of attention at all times - When we step outside she is the first to the door, and you can`t keep her back. Since I truly admire your show, I have learned some methtods to use, and they work, and yes it takes time.
My favorite show was about Brady the pool lab, boy he was high strung...you did him and his owners a huge favor.
You rock and keep the shows coming!!!

HI my name is maury and i wanted to know how to help my dog and me how to manage him. I try to take him out for walks but whenever he sees a dog he gos and trys to go after him. I cant control my dog he is to aggressive and strong. I just cant walk him any more and so he never goes out. So he has
more energy and barks at everything he hears. He`s a labrador, 1 year old. I watch your show all the time and copy
what you do with my dog but it never works for me.I live in Los angeles california and im 14 years old. PLEASE HELP ME!!!

I love watching your show, Cesar! You have such and awesome way with dogs and it`s amazing how you can be so patient with them all the time. I absolutely love dogs and hope to be as calm-assertive as you are some day. I`ve learned a lot about dogs thanks to your show. I`ve just finished reading your book "Cesar`s Way". It took me only 2 days and it was very interesting! I hope to get your DVD very soon. I`ve tried many of your methods with my dog and also with the stray dogs around here when I happen to run across them. They`ve all worked perfectly, and I can`t possibly tell you how thankful I am that you`ve become "The Dog Whisperer"! I wish your show came on more often. In fact, you should have your own channel! But thanks for being so awesome with your "doggie ways". =)

We are true dedicated fans!
We don`t have great danes, but our overly large Boston Terrier truly tried to eat the house down. I have never seen such calm assertiveness for any one human being.
It has truly helped us in our "extended puppy family".
We also help resuce abused dogs.
I now have a 1 1/2 year old boxer that had cigars put out on his head. This poor dog was so abused he was scared to run and play, because was beaten because he jumped on the kids and knocked them down. We watch you every Friday, and the marathons on the weekends, because we can`t get enough.
I know about the DVD, do you have any books?? Please keep doing the wonderful work with our dog friends!!!! They truly fullfil alot of our lives!!!!!!!

I have an akita and when i first got her i saw her agtgressive side and watched dog whisperer for the first time and realized that she can be good if i do the right training. until cesars show i wasnt sure i should keep her now i know better THANK YOU DOG WHISPERER!!!!!!!

It is one of the best ones on TV!!!!
I try to catch your show at 10 - 11 am every day and the family watches Friday nights Prime Time episodes at 8pm on NGC.
I have never owned a dog or trained one either.
Your show has given me and my family the confidence to apply the proper techniques you demonstrate on your shows to our JUG, Maggie.

Hey Cesar, I watch your show every friday night and I really enjoy it very much and I take notes from your show because I`m a dog trainner myself and I go to our dog park and I help people train their dogs. I met someone named Joe who has a Golden Retiever Bud that likes to jump on people and One day Bud was getting ready to jump on me then I put my hand out and told him to stay down and sit and Joe the owner asked how I do that and I told him when it comes trainning a dog it takes time and patience and Joe was very thankful I was able to help him with dog issues.

Whats up Cesar. Me and my wife see your show every Friday. I have owned pits ever since I was a little kid and never had trouble with the bread. But, people New Mexico want to get read of the bread. I train my dogs to be gental and not agressive. Also all my dogs have been bilingal and very smart. I would just like you to try to send a message to the people that the breed is needed in this world just like every other dog breed there is. I also use alot of your methods and they help alot. thanks for your advice.

BEST SHOW ON!!! EDUCATIONAL FOR ALL. I HAVE BECOME THE OWNER OF A LARGE(120 LBS) WHITE, SHEPARD TYPE DOG. I ACQUIRED HIM WHEN HE WAS ALMOST 2. THE PREVIOUS OWNERS DIDN`T DO RIGHT BY HIM. HE SPENT ABOUT ALL HIS TIME TIED TO A LOGGING CHAIN AND "DOG HOUSE."
I HAVE OWNED 3 GERMAN SHEPARDS AND LOVED THEM UNTIL THEIR END. THEY WERE ALL WELL BEHAIVED AND TRAINED BY ME. I NEVER DREAMT I WOULD OWN A DOG THAT INTIMIDATED ME. HE DID AND STILL DOES TO SOME EXTENT. (THANKS TO CESAR, I`M DOING BETTER) WHEN I HAVE THIS ANIMAL(HIS NAME IS WRAITH) DO SOMETHING HE DOESN`T WANT TO DO, HE LOOKS ME IN THE EYE AND GROWLS VERY QUIETLY. HE WENT AFTER ME ONCE WHEN I ACCIDENTLY CLOSED HIS TAIL IN A DOOR. I MOVED QUICKLY AND CLOSED THE DOOR BEHIND ME. WELL, I JUST COULDN`T TAKE IT ANYMORE. I GOT THE BIGGEST FRYING PAN IN THE HOUSE AND TOLD MYSELF THIS WAS IT. HE AND I WOULD HAVE IT OUT IF HE WANTED, I COULDN`T LIVE WITH A DOG THAT THOUGHT HE WAS BETTER THAN ME. WELL, I OPENED THAT DOOR (HITTING THE PAN AGAINST MY PALM IN A CLAPPING MOVEMENT) EXPECTING TO BE AGGRESSIVELY MOVED UPON AND, NOPE, HE JUST WENT HIS WAY. AFTER WATCHING THE DOG WISPERER, IT BECAME APPAIRANT TO ME THAT LIKE CESAR SAYS THEY READ YOUR ATTITUDE AND AT THAT MOMENT HE WAS READING ME AND I WAS THE LEADER AND WILLING TO FIGHT FOR IT. HE STILL CHALENGES ME ALMOST DAILY. I HOLD MY GROUND AND DON`T BACK DOWN FROM HIS GROWLS. HE IS WALKING MUCH BETTER ON LEASH, NOT PULLING AS HE USED TOO. AT TIMES HE TRIES TO ATTACK A CAR AS IT PASSES BUT, I`D SAY WE HAVE IMPROVED AT LEAST 200%( I STILL HAVEN`T THE COURAGE TO WALK HIM NEAR ANY PEOPLE OR ANIMALS AND I WON`T ALLOW MY GRANDCHILDREN AROUND HIM. ONLY ABOUT 6 PEOPLE HAVE GOTTEN TO KNOW HIM, "OR AGNORE HIM" WELL ENOUGH FOR ME TO BE COMFORTABLE WITH THEIR AND HIS PRESENTS.

Cesar, you are a gem indeed.
We have a toy poodle who pretty well owns the house.
We are seniors and she gives us so much joy.
She needs help on only a couple of issues.
When we see your programs we are thankful indeed how good she is.
Barking at noises and when the telephone rings or door-bell is what we are working on.
Keep up the good work, it is a program we would watch even if we did not have our Muffy.

I have been a dog lover all my life, and through out that time I have seen so many ways to so called "train your dog".
These classes and courses are all about certain collars and treats to get what you want from your dog, or walking around in a big room with him on a leash barking commands. Not only did my GSD hate it but I was feeling like a loser when my dog did just the oppisite of what we were being taught.
After watching The Dog Whisperer I
realized a couple of things that I needed to correct about myself if I wanted to have a good relationship with my dog.
After a couple of days with calm, assertivness, and rules, boundries and limitations, I became the leader of my pack.
Thank you Cesar for teaching me it is not always my dogs fault....and how to understand it from my dogs point of you.
We need more of your kind in this would.
