The following keywords were used to find this product on the internet. This gives a good indication of how a product is remembered by people who viewed the infomercial.

Power 90 - Get TOTAL body transformation in just 90 days!

Tony Horton is a pretty fun guy. Clearly he is in great shape. He's relaxed and confident and appreciates a joke or two. The Power 90 package is a pretty phenomenal accomplishment and the people at BeachBody who produce this package have done their homework. It's good, solid and practical.

The Power 90 product clearly comes from someone who knows what is effective in terms of workout and diet. There are ‘homemade’ routines, no training sequences which seemed more apt to result in injury than tone muscles. Any accredited professional trainer will tell you that what you see here is what you’ll se in any fitness facility – good proven scientific workouts.

The hardest thing about developing a product like Power 90 is being able to pitch it to such potentially wide audience - as this system could be purchased by a obese, out of shape couch potato, or an average Joe trying to get into great condition. Tony’s approach is smart and sensible – and the Power 90 folks have recently released Power 90X (for eXtreme) for serious hardcore athletes.

You get things to get you started and things to keep you going. The first DVD is full of testimonials and positive affirmations. It has a program introduction and advice on using all of the materials properly. There is a scheduler, a calendar and a healthy eating guide - there is also some very very good advice (take a photo, get a buddy, throw out your junk food NOW). Additionally, the Hawaii connection is glamorously emphasized.

Following a disclaimer and some basics (have water and a towel handy) the routines begin. Peppered with sane and sensible advice (e.g. ‘go at your own pace’), Tony walks a male and a female athlete through the routines. He’s lighthearted but respectful.

Routines are Cardio, Circuit and Ab Ripper. Cardio is, of course, to raise metabolism and lose weight. Circuit is to tone and build muscle and Ab Ripper is to tighten and strengthen the abdominal area. Routines end with a stretching/relaxation segment which is very similar to that found in mainstream yoga.

The format is easy to follow and the workouts are fun to do. If you are not a gym person, and do not want to invest in a home gym (a Tread Climber for cardio and Platinum Cross Bar for circuit training), then Tony Horton’s fun, well presented get-in-shape system might be just the thing for you. I would advise you to buy dumbbells (hand weights) to get more out of the circuit segments, and take a kickboxing class or a jog from time to time instead of the cardio routine, so that your workouts do not get stale.

Power 90 Reviews

Definately works!

I lost 24 lbs and 3 sizes on this program! It`s a must to anyone who wants to loose weight!

Great workout, must work hard

Power 90X is a great workout routine, if you`re willing to dedicate yourself to it. It`s not for the person who wants to workout at their own pace and every other day. If you dedicate yourself to the program, you`ll see great results. Tony does a great job, explains everything, motivates you, etc. Worth it for sure, but only if you`re actually dedicated to doing somthing.

POWER 90 is great

I am very impressed with this comprehensive program! The music is NOT that bad, and Tony`s comments are fun. It is a challenging workout even if you do work out some beforehand. This is better than any other videos out there!

GREAT if you`re willing to work

I used this program a few years ago faithfully. I did the full 90 day workout and while the results may not have been as dramatic as people in the infomercial, I lost weight for the first time in my life and enjoyed it! The workouts *can* get boring, but you have to find it in yourself to push yourself. I`m well over 20 lbs overweight and found I could do the workouts. After finishing the program everyone I saw that I hadn`t seen in a while commented on how great I looked and how I`d lost a lot of weight. Because of some hectic stuff going on in my life, I`ve fallen off the workout bandwagon...but doing this program DOES work if you just do it!!!

SIMPLY THE BEST!!!!!!!!!

Yes it may seem a litttle tough at first, but thats what the first dvd is for, to get you used to it. I was two hundred pounds, smoked, ate whatever I felt like, and lazy. I had a 36 inch waist. Now I am 165 lbs, 29 inch waist, and in the best shape I have ever been in. That includes my time in the service. I am a healthy 33 year old man. It just takes dedication and willpower. I am also a single father so time is what I have little of. My motivation was my kids. I don`t want to end up like my dad and my mom and die at 50 & 51. I want to be there for them and see my grandkids. Thats my motivation! Find yours! If I can do it so can anyone. So instead of loafing around watching TV, surfing the net, put the dvd in and just do it. It takes less than an hour.

It`s Called Exercise

It`s called exercise, no one said it`s supposed to be easy. If you want good results you have to wokr hard to get them. I have lost 55 pounds using Power 90 and Power Half Hour. Sure it was hard at first, but if you give up, it will never get better.

Dedication is key

I have used P90, (you begin with the 1-2 phase) worked up to 3-4 phase, and graduated to the ultimate body sculpting routine P90X. Once I saw the weight coming off, the muscles tonin and the abs defing, I was hooked. One suggestion is to alter your diet as well. Physical activity is 50%, diet is the other. As with any other routine, as long as you follow it, and remain dedicated, you will see results. It is a physiological guarantee that if you burn calories through exercise, eat non-processed, healthy foods in moderation throughout the day, you will lose weight. I believe in 6 months, I went from a fat 215 to a shredded 165 completely on the P90 system. Again, it does take A LOT of initial motivation, but if you can start, remain motivated and complete the program, you will not regret it.

Wow...

I got this about a year ago and I was in somewhat good shape already. I got a new job, a desk job so I did put on quite a few pounds since my last job was physical so I didn`t put on weight. Power 90 was hard for me then. And now with the extra pounds, it`s really bad for someone who`s about 25+ pounds overweight. It`s really hard on the chest. I don`t recommend this one. As someone said before, Taebo is easier compared to this. =/

Yes, this is slightly more advanced than TaeBo

.. but frankly, that`s what I like about it. This program is great because it is exactly what your doctor tells you to do (eat right and exercise). It`s a simple program that demands that you be ready to change your life and you`ll get significantly better results than Taebo. I would recommend that anyone trying this regime would work through the first week or two before judging this product; once you`re past this learning curve it gets easy (especially when the results are already coming in!). I started this program at 285 and lost 40 lbs in the first 90 days (which even covered Christmas!). I`m still doing the advanced dvds now as I want to lose another 20 lbs or so (I`m 6`4) but my definition is really coming through now and everyone has commented on my amazing progress. So ya, it is a tough one to get into, but you`ll appreciate all that you get out of it.

What???

I kind of like the program at first, but later on I`ve gotton bored. I wasn`t motivated enough. I lost interst in Power 90 and decided to move on with another program. Words for thought: workouts was too hard.

Want toput mine on Ebay

I did not like this program. I felt that the routine was way above my fitness level, and even though they say "work at your own pace", I felt like my pace was a waste of time. If you are already in shape it is probably a good program, but if you are overweight and out of shape, you may need to do something else first to get you started and in shape to do this program. Honestly this was much harder for me than Tae-Bo, which I could easily do at my own pace and work up to Billy`s pace.
