Developed in the 1920s by trainer, J.H. Pilates, this exercise methodology is focused on improving flexibility and strength for the total body, without building bulk. I ordered it off the internet and was so incredibly pleased with the rapid results, I ordered the powersculpt buns and thighs. If you are dedicated the results can be amazing and quick to recognize! I am losing inches I didn`t even know I had.

I started Pilates about three years ago, when I was actually only twelve years old. I lost a little over 10 pounds and felt and looked great, along with getting many compliments. I even got my neighbor, cousin, and English teacher into pilates. I still use pilates today, along with other workouts, just to add a little cardio into my workout, but still feel and look great. The only thing that I thought bad about pilates was that you really have to mix up your workouts to keep seeing results, because, like any other workout tape, your body gets bored of the same old thing. Other than that, I keep going back to it! It gives me the confidence that I need, especially as a teenager.

It tones but no weight loss

I was using the winsor pilates DVDs everyday, mostly the accelerated ones and then the cirlcle workout along with eating healthy. I lost the 6lbs water weight in the first week and that was it. I saw results within 2 weeks, my body was toned and all but the weight didn`t go down. I actually had to find cardio and strenght training workouts to drop the weight. If you`re already at a good weight and you just need to tone then this is what you`re looking for.

I have used the Winsor Pilates dvd`s for two weeks now, and I am totally facinated and happy with the results. I have already lost a total of 6lbs. & 14 inches, and I am still hoping to loose more weight and inches. Will be writing in as soon as I do.

My sister gave me the "Winsor Pilates" 20 minute workout DVD set for my 47th birthday in July 04. Although it also contains the accelerated dvd, I`ve only been using the 20 minutes version. And I love how I`ve toned up and the compliments are contant. However, I do realize that if I change my diet and eliminate some things, I would be even tighter. Two of my girlfriends have just purchased a pilates machine, based on how well I look. And both of them have commended me on my achievements and dedication. And although I feel that the machine is a good investment, I believe that our body become our own machine when using the Winsor system. I really love the 20 minutes dvd, not only because it`s easy, but I also the love the music. The mellow rythm and strong beats are very useful for timing my breathing, otherwise I`ll forget to breath correctly, which is the major source of this weight loss program. What song is that anyway? I know the artist is Raney Shockne. If anybody knows, please e-mail me. I`ve also purchased another "Winsor" Pilates VHS, but nothing beats my DVD. Lovin it! Thanks Mari, Guthy Renker

I have been doing the 20 minute workout everyday for the past 4 months. I have lost almost 20 pounds and am thinner than I have ever been!! I have a 4 and a 1 year old and never thought I could look this good! My abs a tight and toned and there is not a pinch of fat on me!! In the beginning to loose the pounds I rotated it with the accelarated workout as recommeded and now just do the 20 minute one to tone and stay in shape. Awesome product..you need to follow Mari`s guidlines to see results otherwise the fault is your own!

I have been doing the 20 minute workout for the last 4 months everyday and have lost almost 20 pounds!!! My abs a tight and toned and their is not a pinch of fat anywhere on me! I have a 4 and a 1 year old, I never thought I could look this good! Amazing video that is so easy to do but the results are fabulous!! I have told everyone I know about this video!

I like it, but...

This product has not helped me lose weight. I do it every other day and although I do love it, and I can feel a solid layer of muscle under my flab on my stomach for a while after finishing the exercises, I have not lost any pounds or inches because of it. I also found that the pace was MUCH too slow in the video. I know she wants to emphasize correct form, but do we really need to spend two minutes lying down? I`ve memorized all the moves and just don`t play the videos anymore. Anyway, it`s a great product..it really does tone...but if you want to lose weight, you`re going to need to add some cardio into your schedule as well.

I`ve tried different Pilates DVD`s and Mari Winsor`s are by far the best!! I`ve lost 25 lbs from just doing the 20 minute workout. And I`ve lost another 10 lbs so far from doing the Accelerated Workout!! I`m more toned and more flexible, too!! A Great Investment for your Body!!

i do pailates a little more than 3 times a week and i just started the harder tape and i see my tummy shrinking already this work out makes me feel better about myself

Real Woman Found Real Results

Real mom of 4 kids, very little personal time, and newly diagnosed with osteoarthritis, I had the videos for a while and used others, and other methods of workouts. Went back to Windsor Pilates for "no impact workouts" and I work "HARD for 20 minutes. I`ve got 20 minutes everyday...I don`t have 60 minutes everyday so I make time for Windsor Pilates 20 minutes, every day and supplement it with 20 minutes of cardio or 20 minutes of weights. Dropped my calories down to 1200, drink 1 gallon of water daily, and the scale is moving down! This is what we call "fitting within our schedule!"

The Winsor Pilates were a little difficult at first to follow. But after a few try’s I was able to get it. And if I can "get it" anyone can. I enjoy the tapes, and you do see visible results!

For dancers

As a former dancer, I have been looking for something that would challenge my muscles back into their former glory. Pilates does that for me. I`m much more toned, flexible, and stronger, and it`s even improved my cardio workouts on the treadmill in that they are longer and more intense.

It`s great that someone developed a pilates program that doesn`t cost a lot of money. I recommend it if you`re into something different than the same old stair climber.
