I used the Scalp Med Formula for Women about two years ago.
My hair started thining on the sides (along the hairline) after I reached puberty.
And twenty years since puberty, my hair has started to thin on top.
I had quick, excellent results with Scalp Med.
I noticed results within two or three weeks. I used Scalp Med for three months. But I discontinued using it due to financial reasons.
The only complaint I have is that the product made my "hair" very dry (but thankfully, it didn`t dry out my scalp).
Prior to Scalp Med, I had tried Rogaine for Women when it became available in drugstores.
I also had quick results with it.
However I wouldn`t use Rogaine again because I developed what I would describe as an extremely dry scalp.
It was like Craddle Cap that infants develop.
While using Scalp Med, I did not experience shedding or an itchy scalp. I continued to use chemicals in my hair without breakage or any other negative effects. As I stated above, I used the product a couple of years ago.
I`m sure this will vary for each person (and the reason and/or medical diagnosis for one`s hair loss), but even after I stopped using Scalp Med, I continued to see growth for about 1 1/2 years after discontinuing its use.
My hair growth is currently at a standstill. I`ve loss some of the hair, but much of the thinning area still produces hair.
But not as much as when I was using the product.
So, I do plan to regularly use Scalp Med again when my finances will allow.
I wish Scalp Med could be dispensed in foam formula though.
I think it would be a lot easier to control applying the product to one`s scalp, without having to worry it trickling down the face or neck.
This is not a phony posting.
It`s just my experience, which was very positive.

I am always changing my hair. I had been wearing braids for a while along with scalp me in the crown of my head. I noticed in about 3 wks the crown of my head sarted to fill in. I am doing something new along with using the scalp med. I am looking foward to see what my hair will look like this summer

I`ve been using this product for a month now & noticed more shedding & then tried not to use it for 2 days & the shedding stopped. is this normal or i`m just wasting my money out of this!
My Experience
I`ve been using scalpmed for about 4 months know and I just wanted to let people know my experience.
Note: I only use this product in my hairline to mid scalp, not in the back.
The first 1 and a half months I experienced alot of shedding, more than I had prior to using this product.
So I did some research, even though in the scalpmed website they say nothing about this, I found numerous articles about shedding to be a normal experience when begining a new hair treatment.
So I kept using it consistantly 2 a day in the morning and at night.
Know it has been about 4 months and I`m seeing:
1.hair darker at the roots (I have strawberry blonde hair)
2. Colorless hair on the both sides of the hairline.
3. Short 1/2 inch blonde hair falling out when I brush my hair at the site of treatment.
4.With an emphasis on a
accouple, dark hairs starting to peak out.
5. Hairline interior is still pretty high but seems to be filling in.
I will write more after I finish my 6th month.
This is more of just one users experience.
I really hope scalpmed can give me the hair that I desperately want.

I am totally - completely satisfied.

It Works and It Works Fast
I have tried everything - Visited several dermatologist from the East Coast to Houston.
I have been using ScalpMed approximately 2 wks - I already see a difference.
Prior to ScalpMed, my hair had begun to shed without combing.
Single strains would just fall from my scalp.
Now, my hair is no longer thinning and my "cowlicks" are gradually filling in.
The entire product line for women is great - My scalp is not longer dry or flaky.
Thank God for ScalpMed - Otherwise, I had resigned to purchasing a wig within the next year.
Now, with continued usage of ScalpMed, I cannot wait to see what "MY" hair will look like within one year.
I advise all skeptics to at least give it a try - You can always get your money back!

Some of these reviews sound phony for sure.
I personally have used rogaine for a full year in the past and saw no noticeable results.
I have used the first 2 month supply of scalp med and am seeing thicker hair in my problem areas.
My girlfriend thinks new hair is growing in.
Im interested to see if the results will continue.
Overall a good product so far.

I have been using this product for 4 mos with great results. My hair is growing back before my eyes and I only use it once a day. I get comments all the time about how great my hair looks...If you don`t believe me give the product a try for 3-4 mos and you will definetly see a big change in your hair.

This is the best product on the market right now for hair loss. My husband started using it 4 months ago and we are already seeing results. At first, the hair he already had started looking thicker and now we can actually see new hair growing in! This is so exciting for us...
