WOW!!! I love this knife. Its no ordianry knife its the best knife that can cut through anything I had this knfie for 3years and it still works brand new. I never have to sharpen it. Its works as if it was just bought. I cut cheese bones and everything and it works. Last week my old table had to be broken down so that the garabage men and take it I chnaged the blade and it cut through my 7inch wooden table. I donated all my knives and bought a couple more Sonic Blade Knives. You can even buy differnt blades like I bought a blade to cut my table. I highly recommend this. This knife is the best.
Makes chopping really easy, but my favorite thing is that I can easily make paper thin slices of meat, cheese or tomato.

Simply put, this is an amazing knife!
My first thought when I saw it was that is was "just another electric knife."
Was I wrong!
This thing is really cool.
I do a lot of BBQ (living here in the southwest, we have good weather year-round, so...), and I`ve always had trouble cutting ribs for the grill.
The Sonic blade literally cuts thru ribs like its cutting thru paper.
Not cooked ribs -- a FROZEN rack of ribs!
Also, I can cut thru a rotisserie chicken, bone and all, in about 3 seconds.
For everyday foods like sandwiches its great.
Honestly, I thought I wouldn`t use the Sonic blade as much as I do, but I find I`m slicing something with it just about every day.
A funny thing is, I bought a new battery for my digital camera two weeks ago, and it came in one of those hard plastic "anti-shoplifting" cases which no one can open, and I cut it with the Sonic blade!
It wen`t right thru it.
Another thing, I think the Sonic blade would be great for older people with arthritis, or who can`t really slice foods anymore.
My mother in law loved it, and commented on how light weight the Sonic blade is.
I bought the upgrade with the special blades and the battery upgrade, so I can only speak for that, but all in all, the Sonic blade surprised me how good it is.
And, the battery lasts forever!
You`d think that because it is an infomercial tv product, it would be cheap, but it`s really solid and well made.
It`s something you would expect to find in a Sharper Image or Brookstone or another cool high-end store.
Highly recommended!
